Something deep & philosophical

I was watching TV - this very popular Taiwanese singing competition that was already over last year but we only got to start watching recently.

There is this very good singer who's called Lin Zhi Xuan. There's something he said that made me understood a simple theory of life.

We often put ourselves BIG and others small. And we often think that we are always in others thoughts and minds when they are more occupied about thinking about themselves and their families. Just think about this. What if the world is supposed to work in a particular way and things are supposed to happen in a particular pattern. You have no control over everything that is around you. All you can do is to play a minute part in the way the world is.

Everyone wish to make a difference in someone's life or be individualistic or simply out-of-the-ordinary, but when too many people try to be different. They end up to be the same.

Imagine this: what if the world is a stage and we are merely players?

What if we look around and we are merely actors and actresses and we simply play a small role in this large stage. We work but we don't concentrate on self, we sing but we don't concentrate on only us, we talk but we concentrate on others, we feel for others rather than self.

What if we imagine that we have a role to play and the world is a song, play, movie that is the bigger picture. Could it be possible that we just assume this role and do it well?
