my eye - story and status

Hi all,

I have been asked a trillion times about what happened to my eye so this is a chronological account about what happened - and how i look now

Thursday 4 August 2005 - Dizzy spell (suspect its vertigo) and eyes very red
Friday 5 August 2005 - Dizzy spell continued eyes extremely red, doctor at office told me that it is an infection and I am experiencing vertigo. My eyes still did not get better at night.
Saturday 6 August 2005 - Worst day in my red infected eye experience - so red that it is like the red part of the Singapore flag. Went to G** hospital - useless and damn costly- very unhappy with the doctor- told me that it was an eye infection - *duh* i can see leh...what is the value-add? And gave me some gell and the no use pain killer medicine - which is mostly useless...
Sunday 7 August 2005 - Felt so disappointed went to my THIRD doctor - my saviour from MOUNT ALVERNIA hospital - the doctor looked closely at my eye found that it wasnt really the infect causing the pain - the cornea was scratched - okay at least some light dawned on me - no wonder so pain - gave me eye morphine. He said that probably I scratched it.

I recalled that on Friday the doctor asked me to go home to take off my lenses probably I scratched my left eye accidently - my office is very dusty- the dust probably got into my eye on Thursday, I scratched my eye on Friday and my right eye recovered and left eye worsened.

Finally the story sounds logical. The eye morphine was the way to go - i dun know how to name it i just nick it eye morphine but it is probably legally used and is not morphine cos it costs only $3.00 per tube- so cheap. It relieved the pain abit and i put on the gel he gave me...damn shiok after that feel so good.

Oh yah, my mom-in-law called me to tell me to put salt on the stove, cos for red eye it will work - just a superstition lar - but I am willing to try every single thing to cure my eye... i hate it when my eye look reddish and ugly- they are the highlight to my face leh. Anyways on the safe side the doctor asked me to go back to see him on Monday and gave me one week MC - but I will only use if I really havent recover lar...cos he said quite uncertain when recover

Monday, August 8 2005 My mom came to my house at 9am and we went to the doctor at MOUNT ALVERNIA again..everything is fine no need to see specialist - recovering well- FINALLY...hopefully my eye recovers on NATIONAL DAY - wanna celebrate with the nation too yeah...heehhe
