works of renoir

When I went to Japan, we went to this museum in Japan that have original works belonging to a few of the most famous artists in the world. I was specially impressed by the works of Renoir, Pierre Auguste 1841—1919, French impressionist painter and sculptor, his paintings bring out the emotions of the people in his paintings mostly women. I felt deeply touched by two of his works, 'The Girl With The Feathered Hat' (I can't find this on the web) and 'The Mother With Her Children Looking For Clams'. I feel that he is very good in capturing the emotions of women and children. He started out as a humble decorator of factory made porcelain and met Bozille, Monet and Sisley some of his artists friends. His paint strokes and colours left me a deep impression. Enjoy.
